A newly constructed Apron has been operationalised with a capacity to accommodate 10 code-C aircraft at the Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport Amritsar. Constructed at a cost of ₹ 43.97 Crores, this new facility will assist in strengthening the airport operations.

With the operationalisation of this newly constructed apron, the total aircraft parking capacity of AmritsarAirport has increased from 15 aircraft to 25. Also, the airport will now be able to accommodate more flights during bad weather conditions. On this occasion, Regional Executive Director, Airport Director Sh. V.K. Seth and other dignitaries were present.
