While the recovery of domestic air travel demand continues in India amid the COVID-19 pandemic, there is some good news for the fliers between Amritsar and Pune.
Starting 20th August 2021, the Indian Low Cost Carrier, IndiGo will be launching non-stop flights between Amritsar and Pune.
According to the schedule available from IndiGo website, the timing of these flights will be as follow:
From Pune To Amritsar (Monday & Friday)

The airline currently will operate this route twice weekly, every Monday and Friday. Currently these flights are available for booking till 30th August 2021.
It was a long pending demand of the Punjabi community in Punjab as well as those residing in Pune to have non-stop flights between the two cities.
The addition of this new flight by IndiGo from Amritsar will give a boost to the tourism industry in both the cities.
With Pune, Amritsar is now directly connected with over 11 domestic destinations, namely, Delhi, Mumbai, Srinagar, Patna, Jaipur, Ahmedabad*, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Jammu, Nanded and Pune.
