Indigo, India’s leading low-cost carrier will be resuming its direct Amritsar-Srinagar flight from 27 October operating every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
As India starts to ease travel restrictions, more airlines are resuming domestic flights. The airline released the winter schedule that starts from Oct 27, 2020 till March 27, 2021.
The flight will depart from Amritsar in the morning at 9:50am arriving Srinagar at 10:45am. The same aircraft for return flight will depart at 11:30am from Srinagar with arrival at Amritsar in the noon at 12:35am.
The booking for these flights is open and are available for booking till the end of winter schedule.
Yogesh Kamra, Convener (India) of FlyAmritsar Initiative has welcomed the resumption of this flight. This direct domestic connection will help even exchange of tourists between the two cities and help revive the tourism business that has been suffering since the start of this pandemic. It will also once open up easy travel for traders and businesses.
