Amritsar-London Heathrow direct flight also extended till 24 October

While the ban on international flights in India is extended to 31st September 2020, the huge demand for more direct flights to UK from Amritsar has led Air India to resume its direct Amritsar-Birmingham flight under Vande Bharat Mission. Air India is already operating direct 1x weekly flights between Amritsar and London Heathrow Airport under Vande Bharat Mission since 24th August 2020.

Starting 18th September 2020, Air India will also operate 1x weekly direct flights between Amritsar-Birmingham till 24th October 2020 under Vande Bharat Mission.

The Amritsar to Birmingham flight will depart Amritsar every Friday till October 23, while the Birmingham to Amritsar flight will depart every Saturday till 24th October. Airline has so far released schedule of flights only till October 24 under the mission.

The schedule of direct Amritsar-Birmingham flight will be as follow:
Departure from Amritsar: 13:00 hours
Arrival at Birmingham: 17:20 hours

The Birmingham-Amritsar will operate as follow:
Departure from Birmingham: 19:45 hours
Arrival at Amritsar: 7:50 hours

In addition to these Birmingham flights, Air India is also operating 1x weekly direct flights to London Heathrow from Amritsar. The Amritsar to London Heathrow flight departs on Tuesday’s till 24th October, while London to Amritsar flight departs on Monday till 23rd October

The flight schedule of Amritsar-London is as follow:
Departure from Amritsar: 15:15 hours
Arrival at London: 19:35 hours

While the London-Amritsar flight operate as follow:
Departure from London: 9:45 hours
Arrival at Amritsar: 22:25 hours

Please confirm your eligibility to enter the destination country before booking these flights to avoid any inconvenience during the travel.
