India’s full service carrier Vistara on Thursday launched non-stop flights between Delhi and Frankfurt, under the travel air bubble agreement between India and Germany.

The airline will fly between the two cities twice a week – on Thursdays and Saturdays. Passengers who meet the visa/entry requirements laid down by both the countries can book to travel.

Vistara operates the route with their brand new The Boeing Company 787 Dreamliner aircraft, of which the airline has two in the fleet right now. The schedule of the Vistara Frankfurt flight is as follows:

UK025 DEL 03:30 – 07:55 FRA 789 46
UK026 FRA 12:40 – 00:50 (+1) DEL 789 46

The flight from Delhi will depart early morning at 3:30am reaching Frankfurt in the morning local time at 7:55am on same day. The return flight will depart from Frankfurt at 12:40pm in the afternoon reaching Delhi after midnight at 12:50am.

To provide domestic connectivity with its international flights, Vistara operates 2 daily flights between Delhi-Amritsar route. On the outbound journey from Amritsar to Frankfurt via Delhi, the airline connection time is not very convenient due to a layover of more than 10 hours. On return from Frankfurt, connection time at Delhi for flight to Amritsar is 7 hr 10 min.

The airline has currently opened booking of flights on its website till end of summer schedule 2021.
